Baldock
Health Care Centre is situated on one of Western Pennsylvania's
most historic land sites. Baldock was the name given to the land
on the original warrant from the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
conveyed by John Penn, William Penn's brother, to the original
owner in 1771. The colonial farm is now known as Mills Baldock
Acres and is presumed to have been named for the town of Baldock
in Hertfordshire, England.
Baldock
Health Care Centre is located in central Westmoreland County on
Barnes Lake Road approximately ¼ mile west of Route 30
from the Irwin Exit (#7) of the Pennsylvania Turnpike. In an area
that encompasses "the best of both worlds," Baldock
is approximately 20 miles east of the cosmopolitan city life of
Pittsburgh, yet minutes from the beautiful mountains of Laurel
Highlands.
